does anyone know if the author and artist for 'the djinni's ring' from issue #9 are still working in the field? their names are vince garcia and daniel horne, respectively.

since a subtle approach didn't work, let me be more direct here. what is the policy for dungeon magazine adventures to be republished for sale in other publications under different rules systems, but while retaining all of the flavor text and some artwork? is there a time period after which this is allowed, or once it's in dungeon, it lives there forever?
in other words, there is another "company" i know of that appears to be plagiarizing and reselling adventures and artwork from old dungeon magazines, and then selling it for profit.
although it is possbible they have permission, my instincts tell me that they are doing so illegally and feel obligated to notifiy dungeon staff.

Hmmmm... interesting!
Pretty much everything that appears in Dungeon is owned by Wizards of the Coast, with the possible exception of some of the artwork from the earlier days (I'm not sure how the art contracts work) and the comics. Certainly, the adventures themselves are owned by Wizards of the Coast, since we've been purchasing all rights to the adventures since issue #1. We have partners overseas that republish and translate some adventures now and then into other languages, but as far as I know there are no other companies that are allowed to reprint and resell adventures and artwork from old Dungeon magazines.
