Well, my wife and I have been hosting a game at our place for almost ten years, but recently one player moved to Vegas, one started working a lot of weekends, another got married, and now yet another player has started dating somewhat seriously. So, that just leaves the two of us.
Anyway, we just try to have fun: we use pretty much all WOTC books and Dragons, as long as your character concept makes sense. We almost always play in homebrew worlds, but my wife works pretty hard to let most things from stuff like FR or whatever in.
Because of recent group attrition, I've had to reset my characters with an annoying regularity, so I'd like to play somehting a bit higher (say, 5-6+), but other than that not too many restrictions--we tend to run Good, though Neutral's fun here and there... Evil Games tend to be a once or twice a year thing.
We've been running Gestalt with some high attributes, but if we could get a regular group of 4 or more players ditching that would be fine... it's just nice when you have 1-2 people. Though it is a lot of fun. :D
We generally game Saturdays, about 2-8:30 or 9, but when my inlaws go on vacation (like they will be until 7/15) we find that Fridays work much better.
Anyway, we actually have a good amount of players, it's just that they all want to show up once or twice a month and my wife's tired of trying to make that into a coherent storyline. It worked for ages, until our sort of core player (the only guy to make a weekly commitment) moved to Vegas, leaving us with an unending guest star game.
Soooo, there you go. Reply in here if you like, but it's be better to email direct: dnjscott@gmail.com. Oh, check Pererro.com for our blogs, our Myspaces are linked on there, too... see if we seem too weird... :P
