Dungeon Adventure Index?

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

What are the chances of getting a comprehensive index of adventures posted in DUNGEON?

I'm mostly interested in find issues/names based on adventure level with general location/type as further information. If it included the Table of Contents text that would be a great help.

I recognize it requires extra work but even if you just had all the ToC info in one place it would be helpful for finding adventures (and perhaps for Piazo to sell back issues). I wouldn't even ask that you beyond the 3.0 material although the older stuff may be nice for reference. Matching adventure to issue was hard enough when there were only six issues a year but now finding old adventures is even harder.

As recently as the start of this week we'd intended on printing a comprehensive index in issue #138, but as it turns out, we didn't have room in the issue so it got delayed. A comprehensive index of all adventures that have ever appeared in Dungeon, as best I can estimate, would probably take up about 16 pages.

At this point, it's basically a problem of finding 16 pages in an issue. Since we're usually scrapping for one or two... I wouldn't expect to see an index published in the magazine for some time.

Any chance of it being posted here on the site? Or possibly as a pdf similiar to the Aow Overload or other online suplements?

I agree that magazine space is better used for adventures than history.

But I also agree having it as an online feature should work. In a digital format it should even be too difficult to keep it current.

There are a few 3rd party indices out there:

I have my own personal index as well. From #1 on. Saved as an Excel spreadsheet, with levels represented on each tab. Shouldn't take too much work to transform it to whatever DB or index you'd like. If you shoot me an email to rwrightatcacidotcom (replace the at and dot with appropriate), I can email it to you.

How about just an index of the adventures from 3rd edition to now?
