Lashona's sanctum

Age of Worms Adventure Path

Ok

How is this supposed to work? Say Dragotha found the ring of lashona's minion. Say he teleports to her sanctum, which is what Lashona fears.

He teleports inside of an anti-life shield...

and gets healed.

Healed you ask?

The damage dealt is negative energy. In fact it is meant to heal the other undead.

What the heck is Lashona thinking? How would she know that living creatures are going to invade her sanctum? Was it that she assumed that Dragotha would assume that she would expect undead, so she thought that he would send living minions?

Lashonna was more afraid of his avolakia loyalists and living minions, of which he has probably just as many as undead. She assumed (correctly, likely with the aid of divination spells) that Dragotha had not found the ring, otherwise he would have used it. In the meantime, the zone certainly provides aid to herself and her minions, which are pretty much ALL undead.

It's a calculated risk on her part, basically. If you think it's too silly, by all means change it.
