v3.5 Player's Handbook missprints

3.5/d20/OGL

I was just wondering how many people have noticed the missprint on page 135 of the PHB. At the end of page 134 it is talking about the dex. modifier. Then it jumps to combat basics on page 135. Now on page 136 it goes back to talking about the dex. modifier.

I just thought it was kinda funny. I was also wondering how many other people saw the same mistake?

I think Wizards needs to fire there edditer because a lot of there products have some grade school errors. I could list the ones I know about but its time for sleep.

Actually, it's not a misprint. It's just a somewhat poor layout decision. The entirity of page 135 is a massive, full-page sidebar (note the sidebar swipes at the top and bottom of the page). The running text from the end of page 134 flows right into 136 as it should, since it treats the sidebar in the same way it'd treat a full-page illustration.

A perfect example, though, as to why you should never have sidebars that take up more than a third of a page. 200-300 words is the most you should ever try to pull off in a sidebar.
