Is anybody else frustrated with the change is map scales in the later parts of the AoW. A lot more 1 square = 10 ft and 1 sqaure = 20' have started appearing and I just find it hard to use.
#1 - Trying to draw out 1:4 or 1:16 ratio is tough on the fly.
#2 - When I can I tend to blow the maps up from the online supliments and upgrading these maps to 1:1 is tough.
I don't mind the small map size in the magazine, I'd rather just see the 1:1 or 1 square = 5' shown on the maps. Even in a light line, or dashed line, etc.
Anyone else have feelings on the matter.

Unfortunately, there's no real option to printing some maps with a higher scale in certain cases. This is particularly the case in lots of high-level adventures where monsters are so huge that they need more room in the dungeon to move around. Printing larger dungeons with a 5-foot-scale would either require centerfolds or poster maps (which, while neat, are too expensive to do multiple times in every issue), or would require printing a grid at such a tiny size that it'd be nearly useless, not only because the grid's too small to see clearly, but because all those extra lines clutter things up.
I noticed this too, but I'm not really concerned as I have access to an overhead projector and can zoom in and out as it suits us :)
But if you're not that lucky, then I would suggest drawing out the maps beforehand (maybe just the encounter areas) or redoing them in Dundjinni or similar software, and printing out a copy.
I think the important thing is that we get a good map to start with, then there are numerous ways to drill it down.
So far the only map I have any qualms about are the ones from issue 133, that are at an angle instead of an overhead view. I'm gonna have to redo all these with Dundjinni for my projector, but they are mostly square rooms in a keep so it shouldn't be too hard.
