Is there s standard xml format for adventures/modules?

thanks

Are we talking about submission guidelines, or something else? If it's submission guidelines, they are...somewhere on this site. :-D

no, an xml schema to store data for adventures/modules

There is no such standard. However, I think Dundjinni uses XML to render it's adventure outputs, but that's not a standard necessarily.

What do you have in mind?

I guess my other thing to add to this thread is, what if the final purpose for you to store adventure data in an XML format? That might help us out to help you out. :-D

I'm thinking about a "Module Reader" program, where the DM would be able to see the adventure's information displayed in a helpful way. The xml would be imported by the Reader. I've made my own xml schema, but I was wondering if there was one, open source, out there already.

There isn't an "open source" one that I know of. The ones I do know of (Fantasy Grounds and Dundjinni) aren't exactly open source. I'd go with your own and tweak from there. :-D
