Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

For those Dungeon readers like me who don't subscribe to Dragon, I'm excited to share that the "Toughest Critical Hit Ever" has his own mini in the upcoming D&D Minis War Drums set. The mini was previewed in the latest Dragon, and is discussed here:

The pose is straight out of Dungeon #105. I'm eagerly awaiting sending this guy at my Shackled City or Age of Worms PCs.

I know D&D Minis have some detractors on these boards. If you haven't seen the last few sets, you might want to revisit your opinion. The line has come a long way in two years, and some of the latest commons and uncommons are as gorgeous as the best of Harbinger's rares.

We actually sent Wayne Reynold's artwork to Wizards so they could sculpt the mini from it. I think he turned out great!

Yeah, but the colors are all wrong. Where's the bright blue, yellow and red? Angry like a mandrill's butt!

Does this mean that Venger (a member of the Horn Society...) will not be that far behind? Or perhaps Uni?

I would love to see a minis set that included Venger, Uni, Dungeon Master and the kids. Some people hate-hate-hate that cartoon, but nostalgia sells!
That only would be nine minis out of a sixty-figure run. Come'on WotC. Give us some nostalgia!

I'd rather see Strongheart, North Lord, Ogre King and the rest before the cartoon cast . . .
