Hiya! First post here. Is anybody running AoW in DragonLance? I'm thinking about it. Palanthas would be the Free City, and cults of Sargonnas, Morgion, and Nuitari would make up the Ebon Triad. I'm just having a hard time figuring out where Kyuss would fit in... any ideas?
I had posted something a while back on Sovereign Press's DragonLance boards about this. In general, when I thought about it, I had Kyuss as a son of Morgion that he fathered during the Age of Dreams. When he became too powerful, the other god's decreed that Morgion aid them in allowing their servnants to bind him up so as to keep him from challenging the power of the gods.
After the events of the War of Souls and the return of the gods, Morgion has decided to free his son in a gambit to take over the Pantheon of Evil.
The Ebon Triad would be Chemosh, Sargonnas, and Hiddukel, as Morgion is duping the worshippers of other evil gods to aid him in his power play, elevating his son to true godhood while still making Kyuss essentially his servant.
Oh, when I started coming up with a conversion for Krynn, I started to use Palanthas, but the more I thought about it, I ended up writing it up as Kristophan in Taladas. But of course, this will all depend on how much you want to use Taladas.
