Shackled City: Miniatures and Maps

Wouldn't the absolute greatest thing be to have miniature scale (1 inch) maps for the shackled city? Someone with CC or Dundjinni shouldn't have much problem with this.

In the meantime, anyone know of scaled maps that might be available here or there? RPGenious has great maps, and there are some here on Paizo - but none scaled for encounters and minis.

Yes, it would be absolutely fabulous ... especially with some of the more interesting set-piece maps (the town map for the Umber Hulk Attack, etc). If anyone were to scan and scale these, they would be my newest best friend (but hurry ... I'm up to Secrets of the Soul Pillars!)

Actually, I really loved this idea...until I realized that this would mean hundreds of feet of maps. A map of Cauldron proper would be 800 feet in diameter, and though one wouldn't need to have a map of the city for any encounters I can think of (except for chapter nine), the combined area of the encounter maps for the rest of the campaign far outstrips this number. It is a good idea, but one that I think is probably prohibitvly expensive for most people.

It's not to scale, but I've got a .jpg of Jzadirune made with Dunjinni. You can blow it up if you want.

email me if you want it.

Yeah, it would be great, so I did it. I did it the quick and dirty way. It was work, but it sure paid off. I scanned each map that I was using from the book. Then I used a program called PaintShop Pro to get rid of room #'s, notes, and secret doors, enlarged them to 1" scale, and printed them on a laser printer. A little tape, and there you go. Are they a biot grainey? Sure. Better than no map! :-)

I only did the rooms. I have stock corridors I use to connect them all. Doing the work before the game means less work setting it up during; I just have to whip out a sheet and lay it down.

For those worndering, no, I didn't save any of the files afterwards, except for 13 Cages. I have all those on a PDF.

I've been debating with my inner miniature fanboy if I really wanted to create a scale miniature of Cauldron. I really want to do it, but I think the roommates would kill me.

Obviously, it wouldn't be to 1" scale, but...

I did something like that.

Well, I built part of cauldron anyway. Check out the pictures right here

I used models from worldworks games
