Check out the illustration in "Wormfood" in Dragon 340! It's a total scream! The expressions on the faces of our iconic Tiefling and the prudish Alexstrasia the Seamstress are priceless! (I think this is the hardest I've ever laughed in four years of reading the Dragon!)
I'm now looking forward to my PCs doing their accessorizing in preparation for Prince Zeech's party--this will make for some fun role-playing! [This from a guy who avoids malls like the plague].
For those who want an inspiring example of how intrigue, humor, and clothes shopping can mix, check out chaps. 30-33 of "Man in the Iron Mask" (last book in Dumas' Musketeers series), in which Athos, Porthos, and D'Artagnan are preparing for a fete given by a corrupt but charming high official in honor of King Louis.
And Dylan's "Leopard-skin Pillbox Hat" will be on the box when the PCs walk into Ghim Hopefield's Haberdashery. (I finally figured out where you could get one of those things!)
