I just noticed a few hints on later adventures in whispering cairn. In the lair of the architect, there are 3 models of other buildings by the same architect.
Tower with 12 smaller ones sticking out of it: Spire of long shadows
Large coliseum: Champion's games arena
Palace: no idea. possibly Zeech's palace, but i can't say for sure.
How long was this guy alive?!?!
there was one more hint which had nothing to do with the architect (Zosiel?), but i forgot.

Actually, I was under the impression that those had nothing to do with any of the other adventures at all. Nadroc certainly did not build Kyuss's Spire of Long Shadows, nor does he build the one that (spoiler) arises in the end of the campaign. The Palace doesn't seem to be of any significance either, as there's no indication of such (after all, there's tons of palaces in the world). As for the Colluseum, I suppose one could imagine it as the one in the Free City, but where's the proof? That colluseum didn't necessarily have anything to do with the Wind Dukes (as far as I can remember), so who's to say it's not a completely different colluseum altogether?
In my opinion, those figurines appeared to just be interesting proof that there's more to the D&D world than just what the players encounter, and not foreshadowing of any kind.
That's my two electrum, anyway.

HA! Awesome! This means one of two things:
1: Erik is a sneakier writer than I thought he was, which boggles the mind since I already knew he was sneaky.
or
2: It's a coincidence. A cool, fun one, but a coincidence nonetheless.
