What would y'all think about the size of the town? It has a pop. of 530, so I would say about 5-7 shops, maybe aside from the Temple-Library detailed, about 2-3 small shrines, and about 100-150 buildings? That would make it a pretty good sized little town. I envision a few tree lined streets, and a large park toward the town square.

The DMG2 has a large section about mapping towns based on the town's population (pages 107-108). For a town of 530 (assuming it's a standard population density), it'd be about 800,000 square feet in size (perhaps 800 by 1000 feet?) with 50 or so buildings. A large park would increase the size of the town, of course. The breakdown of buildings should be about: 20 residential, 10 businesses, 10 administrative/religious/industrial, and 10 farms and/or abandoned houses.
Alternately, a small map of Magepoint appears in the adventure "Return of the Eight," although the town's grown a little since that time.
