Concurrent SCAP parties (Or: How Alex Will Go Insane)

So.

I decided to try something new with my gaming groups. I've started one on the SCAP, while the other have heard really good things about it. (I want to make it a point to let all the people who have worked on the SCAP how much of an impression they've made on my players - I haven't seen this level of excitement over a branded adventure setting since 1st edition.) Instead of running seperate, unrelated games, I've decided to set them up in a concurrent campaign - both parties will be involved in the same storyline, but from different angles.

As one party is morally ambigous and have a strong criminal streak in them and the other are a party of Denieran clergy (and assorted hangers-on) the focuses for them both will be completely different. I think the biggest problem I will have is using 'filler material,' as it is obvious that both parties cannot go on all of the adventures.

I'm quite capable of adapting new material to the campaign, but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with alternate starts or additional adventures? Any suggestions?

I've successfully run the SCAP with an Evil party, making some minor tweaks to the plotline to maintain their justified involvement; especially later on, they will need a reason to continue - profit, if anything.

These 'Campaign Journal' threads chronicle the campaign as it unfolded week to week over the past year and a half:

Once the Evil party died (just prior to the "Soul Pillars" adventure), they created a Good party and continued on; the chronicle continues
