Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

I'm looking at possibly dropping a query to Dungeon involving updating an old module. Does anyone have any idea of the legal issues that would be involved in doing this?

I don't want to go through the motions if it's pointless. There's plenty of other ideas I have that I can send out and fret over. =)

While we can pretty much update any of the old TSR adventures in Dungeon, it's not something that we're looking to do with any regularity. When it does happen, 99.9% of the time we'll commission the update from an author. Put another way; we're not interested in submissions for updating old adventures to 3rd edition.

That said, we're certainly interested in new adventures that build on things established in those old adventures, including sequels to old adventures.

What you are describing is effectively what I had in mind - not so much an update on a 'tit for tat' scale, but a new adventure using an old locale. A revisitation rather than a rewrite.

Thanks for the feedback!
