Hey, y'all...
I just bought the Waterdeep: City of Splendors supplement, and I've been flipping through it. It makes several references to something called "Halaster's Higharvestide." Now, I'm fairly new to the Realms (though I *do* know who Halaster is), so could someone fill me in? What is/was Higharvestide, and where can I find more info? And when did WotC decide to stop indexing their products?
Thanks.

Well, as far as the indexing goes, aside from the campaign settings it doesn't seem like they index anything anymore. Ah well.
As far as Halaster's Highharvestide, a member of the Twisted Rune power group kidnapped Halaster from UnderMountain, hoping to force him to divulge his secrets about portals to them. When Halaster was taken out of UnderMountain, tons of wards and spells that were contingent upon his presense, and all the things that he regularly did to "maintainance" UnderMountain went haywire.
If you go to the Wizards of the Coast site and look up downloads, and then look up old edition products, the 2nd edition adventure Stardock has the details on this event.

That address should take you to the download for the adventure.

It's basically a time of year when any location within the continent of Faerun has an increased chance to encounter monsters and disasterous magical effects. These effects are directly related to Halaster's abduction.
