I'll be using this thread to not only post my journal from the campaign, but also hopefully to list and invite ideas on how to convert AOW material/lore/storylines for Eberron, hopefully to facilitate creativity and wean a few people off the online supplements. I mean, c'mon...Keith and the gang at Paizo deserve a break ;)

Here's the composition of the group:
Brownie d'Jorasco: Halfling Wiz1
Ro: Changeling Rog1
Lynnell (d'Lyrandar - orphaned): Half-elf Drd1
Siell: Shifter Mnk1
No-one's taken any dragonmark feats yet, but I know they will later. The half-elf was abandoned in the Eldeen Reaches at birth, a bit of family scandal that was covered up. The halfling is hiding from his family; his brother died in a barge accident while he was supposed to be on watch, so he's dealing with that guilt. The changeling is a Diamond Lake guide to local crypts, and the shifter is part of the Twilight Monastery, a group that studies the Draconic Prophecy.

The most notable things I had to do with the Whispering Cairn to convert it to Eberron was re-write the frescoes that were on the final crypt's walls. Instead of the originals, they saw frescoes showing:
A) the dragonkind throwing off their shackles and warring with the demons
B) The couatl summoning and making a pact with the Vaati lords
C) The Wind Dukes appearing after their quest to create the Rod of Seven Parts
D) The final panel with Icosiol's death.
Everything else was minor cosmetics; the Overload gives that information.
The highlight was the insane acrobatics the monk and rogue cooked up throughout the adventure. When fighting the Wind Warriors, they tried lassoing them; after many tries, the rogue snared the last one while it was flying, and the monk climbed up the rope to grapple it.

Brownie: halfling Wiz3
Ro: changeling Rog2/Ftr1
Siell: Longtooth shifter Mnk3
Lynnell: Half-elf Drd3
They were joined at 5th lvl by:
Darshana: Razorclaw Shifter Bbn5
The Three Faces of Evil was a little more challenging to convert. I replaced the Hextorians with Order of the Emerald Claw cultist, and the grimlocks with dolgrim and a dolgaunt cleric.
The Labyrinth of the Shadow went much more quickly than I thought it would; the group put their left hand to the wall and just stayed with it. The rogue found secret doors left and right, but they stuck with the left wall theory and made it to the storeroom with only two encounters. The thing that gave them the most trouble was the encounter with Theldrick and his Emerald Claw minions: they avoided the overall ambush, and managed to sneak behind another one and catch Theldrick praying. But the weakest members of the party faced off with the strongest clerics Theldrick had under him, and the combat took a little while and lots of cure potions.
Through these two modules, the group hadn't sold any of their art objects off; they had heard of the Wayfinders Foundation from Allustan (the halfling's mentor), and heard they paid full price for art objects to auction. So after this adventure they took all their magic, masterwork and art items and boxed them up; one player took them to Sharn to sell, while the rest headed for Blackwall Keep.
