Does the Blue Duke have a part later in the Adventure Path? My players want to go "Half-Orc hunting". They are currently in the beginning of the Demonskar Legacy and are appauled at the abuses of power and position that the 1/2 orc mercs hired by the Cauldron has taken.
If the Blue Duke does not play a role later, then I can have the party face him at some point in the next session. If not, then he should have a companion that the players can face in his stead.
Thanks,
Neomorte

The Blue Duke appears in Lords of Oblivion at Lady Rhiavadi's gathering (sometimes referred to on these boards as EvilCon). He's apparently infatuated with Thifirane, and will stand beside her and fight off anyone who attacks her, so the PCs should get a chance then to do battle with him, but only as one of the half-dozen or so bad guys at that meeting. If they're looking for something more personal and satisfying, I'd say let them have at him a little earlier, and then during Lords of Oblivion they can just encounter whomever you decide has taken control of his mercenaries in his place.

IMC, one of the players was a goliath. I had the Blue Duke and his ogre compatriots terrorizing the countryside and while the PC was away, they actually slaughtered his tribe. He returned to his village as the Blue Duke (in Ogre form) continued his assualt and fought him mano a mano. Unfortunatley, he was killed. A surviving Goliath witchdoctor reincarnated the goliath as a halfling. Later, the PCs interacted with Zarn Kyass (having no idea who he was, but they also mistrusted the half-orc mercenaries). This made his defeat at EvilCon as well as the reveal of his true identity (parallels with a certain other character in LoO?) all the more sweet.
