Alright, this seems as good as a place to put it. Also, it will provide me with feedback from you guys on how to proceed when I need help.
I started running the adventure path last saturday with two players. I gave each player two characters (rather than include other players that would have hit or miss attendance), and could eventually include a third player on occassion, if my wife takes a liking to DnD.
So far, the group is comprised of:
Synthia, Female Human Wizard. Apprenticed to Allustan.
Dahwin, Male Human Warlock. Also apprenticfed to the Allustan.
Carmal, Female Human Fighter. Will multiclass as fighter/swashbuckler, with plans for the chameleon PrC eventually. Only non-native to diamond lake.
AuGratin "the fearless" Potatoe, Male Halfling Rogue. Plans to multiclass as rogue/swashbuckler
The session started off with Syn and Dahwin talking about the three adventurer's in town from Sharn exploring the Stirgenet Carin and how there are probably other Cairns that still have loot. They decide to go exploring in the Whispering Cairn, and allustan suggests hiring some muscle from the feral dog. The couple gets to the dog and Augratin propositions Synthia with the now famous line (used to greet any non-halfing female), "Hey baby, want to be the mother of a new race?"
Eventually, the four PC's meet and head off to the Cairn. They dispatch the wolves and through judicious use of the warlocks spider-climb ability, find the hallway to the wind trap. They notice the grooves in the floor and back off to explore the sarcophagus.
The halfling goes down the elevator tot he tomb of the architect alone, meets the abberation down there and gets put to sleep . .
dang it, lunch breaks, over. . will have to finish writing this up later.

The rest of the group gets the sarcophagus rotated fully to get the elevator to the architect's tomb open again without releasing the acid beetle swarm. make it down to the area and wake up auGratin, who is asleep ontop of the stone slab. (shimmied through to explore alone, and got scared when he felt the first sleep ray hit him (failed will save on second hit.)
The group explored the architect's tomb, tried to burn away the brown mold with a torch after AuGratin took a nice five hour nap.
Dahwin used his spider climb ability to get into the room with the earth elemental, freed it and then lead it back to the group.
then, after stabilizing a character in negative hit points, they camped out int he architect's tomb four a week to get him back to 1 hp.
They back tracked out to the abandoned mine office. They met an NPC there who healed them, A Azurin Incarnate (MoI) who follows the silver flame (I took pity on their lack of healing . . . )
Synthia and Carmal went back to get supplies from diamond lake and check with Allustan. He identified some of the magic items and when questioned about brown mold, he told them not to burn it.
