Secrets of Xen'Drik

Due out July of 2006 according to Amazon. I've been on the boards enough to recognize all of the authors' names. ;) Very nice.

I'm not sure who that Baker guy is; I'm sure Amber and Jason carried him...

:D

My name is on Amazon, how crazy is that? I think I've reached cloud 8.5.

Congrats Amber, it's well deserved.

One day I will share that feeling, but until then, I hope to see more of your work!

I hope you do in the relatively near future. :) It's a great feeling, btw. :D

Let me add my congrats! Well done!

Well James Jacobs seems to be in about half the books Wizards of the Coast puts out these days (not really, but it seems that way). Let's see, he was a part of Frostburn, Dungeon Master's Guide II, Lords of Madness, and the forthcoming book he's working on with Erik. :)

You forgot the also forthcoming Red Hand of Doom megaadventure ;)

Would that be Fiendish Codex 1: Hordes of the Abyss, or is there something else equally awesome sounding from the two of them? ;)

Paizo Employee Creative Director

Yup—that would indeed be the Fiendish Codex.

Dark Archive Contributor

So yeah, Paizo and its contributors are all over Wizards of the Coast's recent and forthcoming releases. Yay for us! :D

All the love I'm missing...
How I wish I was a pro writer!

Anyways, congrats!

One question: Is there any easy way to find all of the upcoming D&D releases on Amazon? It seems really tedious to manually search for them.

Congrates Amber! :D I've always liked your work. Now, I'm not going to ask what's in this book (as I'm sure its all really top secret), but can you let us know what the book is about? :D

Contributor

It's about the secret stuff in Xen'drik.

:-p

Isn't she helpful?

I'm sure she's bursting at the seams to tell us... but has a NDA that prevents her from doing so.

I'm sure the book is excellent Amber... I told my husband about it and he's very much looking forward to it. He's a big Eberron fan.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate the vote of support. Congrats on the Spell Compendium, btw.

That's exactly it - but that doesn't stop me from asking her about it once a week or so. ;) And actually, the answer she gave here is way more useful than the ones I usually get. :D

The answer here had a lot less obscenities than the ones I usually give you, too.

;-)

LOL I would never expect a lady like yourself to know any obscenities.

Oh, so soon?

Well, it was a great setting while it lasted.

Contributor

Don't worry; the book leaves reams and reams of Xen'drik unexplored. I think the people worried that a sourcebook on Xen'drik will ruin the mystery will be pleasantly surprised when they see the book.

You obviously don't know Amber very well. :D
