This request is inspired by McFarlane's dragon line. I was looking at the lot of them and saw in them the potential for having been offspring of two different types of parents. If you're familiar with the Dragons line, this is what I see as the breakdown:
Eternal Clan = Bronze and Green Dragon Parents
Fire Clan = White and Red Dragon Parents
Komodo Clan Dragon = Green and Black Dragon Parents
Sorcerer Clan Dragon = Red and Gold Dragon Parents
Water Clan Dragon = Blue and Green Dragon Parents
Berserker Clan Dragon = Red and Brown Dragon Parents
Previously, for a suggested article, I recommended having MacFarlane's Dragons statted out. (In part, this was inspired by Paizo's contest to win the collection of the second series.)
However, the dragon line has also inspired this second request - how about designing a standard template by which DMs and Players alike can merge two types of dragons into on hybrid of the two?
Granted, you could do this with realitve ease using Paizo's Dragon Class Templates, and take a first class of one dragon kind and a second class of another dragon kind, but I was also thinking of alternatives that truly addressed hybridization.
