I think from all the evidence in the The Shackled City and Age of Worms (overload) adventure paths the Paizo Staff has been building up to this one.
In one the other threads James Jacobs stated that in the Shackled City AP it was about outsiders and other planes. While in Age of Worms the focus is on Undead. For the third adventure path they wanted to go in another direction. I think all the clues are right in front of us. The return of the Spell Weavers is on the horizon.

I'd prefer something dealing with aberrations, so that I could make heavy use of Lords of Madness.
Something with a heavy focus on Dragons would be neat, too.

The second half of the Age of Worms Adventure Path will have _plenty_ of dragons. Sometimes even within the context of a single adventure (see "Kings of the Rift").

Yay!! Dragons!
Sidenote: How are you going to adapt those adventures to Eberron, where dragons are almost completly different?

That's what we've got Keith Baker on board for, so yes. We will. But you should expect to see that pendulum swing in both directions; although applying the Eberron or Forgotten Realms "template" to the Age of Worms adventure path certainly changes elements of the Adventure Path... there are some things in the Adventure Path that will change aspects of Eberron or the Forgotten Realms.

Nice to see you guys have it all under control. :)
Thanks for your time.

Nice change of topic Erik :). But I'm afraid my thread is turning into another AOW forum. I guess I'll be more direct. Is the next adventure path about the Spell Weavers?

It is not.
Of course, we haven't really done much talk about the next Adventure Path beyond the rudimentary "maybe this would be a cool plot" stage. It looks like we might be having the first real concepting meeting for Adventure Path III this Friday, but we won't be making any anouncements about it for several months. These things take time to build and figure out. I have a feeling we'll be striking into new territory with AP III. It'll build somewhat on Shackled City and Age of Worms, but I doubt we'll be carying much of the adventure themes over. For example: AP III won't have secret societies of cultists as a major theme.
Anyway... my best advice now is to be patient and enjoy Age of Worms. Adventure Path III is a long way off.
