I pre-release ordered this on 3/27/05 with a release date i think the end of april or may. It is now September and although I have paid for the item, I still have no information about the product and there is no information on site about it now. Can I get some information please.

Hi Lew:
The release date for this item has always been this fall. Mayfair asked its retailers to get preorders on this item and basically printed to order. Right now, I am being told that it will release at the end of October. I'll let the message boards know if that changes.
When you placed your preorder, we just took your credit card information. We haven't actually charged anybody any money yet and won't until the item ships in October.

Just wanted to follow up on the continuing status of this really cool looking game, for Lew and others like him the blog on this site has a couple of informative updates, and the manufacturer's website has some useful information. For Lisa and other staff at this wonderful company, I just wanted to say I love your site. Your customer service, selection, and prices are beyond compare. Having said that it may be that Lew wasn't able to find the answers to his questions on the blog because accessing the old posts is a nightmare. When I use the search feature of the site it brings up the related blog posts perfectly. But when I click on those links to read the whole post it goes not to the post in question but to the blog main page with the latest post, from which there is no option but to scroll page after page to get to where you were trying to go. Also I appreciate your clear informative answer to Lew's question but shipping by the end of October was a dream that didn't come true. When I spoke to Mayfair they estimated their shipment by late November and that third parties, like paizo would probably be able to deliver by Christmas. Their recently updated website also indicates a mid-late November ship date. Also on Mayfair's site at this moment the MSRP is listed as $380. So happy holiday's for all us Settlers fans and many thanks for posting if anything changes.

I heard the following information from our distributor today also. The good news is that the Catan sets have arrived at Mayfair and are on their way into distribution as we speak, which means they should arrive in plenty of time for Christmas.
Btw, we will be adjusting the price on our site to the new MSRP of $380 before shipping them out as promised. I'll make sure to post here if anything changes. Thanks again for taking the time to post with the updated info!
