Dragon's 3.5 back issues

i was wondering when did Dragon start doing articles for the d&d 3.5? im planning to get all of em. i didnt start with the 2nd ed of d&d so im leaving the other issues out (and to save money too.)

Issue 269 for Dragon & 82 for Dungeon. Like you I see no point in buying issues that I have no need for since I'm playing d20.

Pre 3.5 issues can be mined for ideas though. You can get Issues 1-250 as a CD-ROM archive, but it's out of production, so you'll pay a steep price on E-bay if you find it.
