Well, last night we finished up in Bhal-Hamatugn. A bit of a downer for the PCs, as the trapped pit with the wraith proceeded to kill one of the PCs. It's too bad, as they've been paranoid about searching for traps, and the one time they barge in ...
Anyway, they've gotten back to (my campaign's version of) Cauldron (Taskaunt) to find taxes increased again, and rumblings from the townsfolk. They know the gathering is going to be momentous.
I was also able to throw in some run-ins with Anhkin Taskerhill. They really hate that guy. They're beginning to really hate the Stormblades too. Especially when they didn't pick a snazzy adventuring group name, so the townsfolk keep referring to them as "those other guys".
So, I'm gearing up my changes for Chapter Five. IMC, I've changed the following to suit the Wizard's Reach and my preferences:
The Chisel - I've replaced them with a brotherhood that worships the memory of an elven fighting company called the Company of the Golden Pheon. So they're mostly like stonemasons, but with bows. They're mostly human, making bows and aping elven customs, not entirely sure what they're doing. I've replaced the High Handcrafter Prestige Class with a version of the Justice of Weald and Woe, taking out some elven class features and replacing them with mercantile class features to show its' divergence. Surabar Spellmason is now a famed star elf warrior named Sweldryr.
Nabotharon - is now one of the dark triad of juju zombie druids led by Ysvel the Black. I've made him a juju zombie werehyena druid (and the progenitors of the werehyenas in the area, and the dark source behind the creepy hyena behaviour).
The Starry Mirror/The Spell Weavers - I've replaced them with the nilshai, and their githyanki servitors. Right now I'm trying to come up with a cosmetic change to the hegemonic plate, replacing it with the picture of the githyanki amulet from the Forge of Silver Flame, but keeping the combo lock/room aspect of the mirror. Not sure how I'm going to do this, but I have a week ... !
