Just by watching the movie trailer I was quite awed by it. In fact, it could rate as good as LOTR.
Much to my surprise I discovered that Terry Gilliam is the director! I loved when he made Time Bandits.
This movie is going to be awesome! Can't wait to see it.
Gilliam is god.
I'm not expecting it to rate even on the same scale as LOTR but I'll definitely see it in the theaters.
I saw the LOTR films a few times each. Manly men in the theater were reduced to tears during Return of the King. It was the right movie at the right time and was incredibly executed. Let's see how long it is before anything in the fantasy realm wins another Best Picture Oscar.
I doubt Brothers Grimm will have pathos, and that it will speak to our truest fears. It'll probably be like Van Helsing but hey, good enough for me to have a blast in the theaters and pick up the DVD.
I wonder if Matt Damon, playing a european linguist, will lose that Boston accent? ;)

I want a real one. Seriously.
But back on topic, I tried tooling around with the idea of a Brothers Grimm campaign. I soon realized the lack of any decent monsters(the best being a gibbering mouther), so I drop kicked it to the bottom of the "Rainy Day" files. Those are handwritten, so I can't read them 30 minutes after I write them.
