Thank you thank you THANK YOU to all at Paizo for some focus on Greyhawk with your adventures. Some of my favorite reads have been "Mad God's Key", "Fiend's Embrace", and "Raiders of the Black Ice". The series on Istivin was great as well.
"Obsidian Eye" was something I'm going to use as the backbone of the first chapter in my upcoming campaign...so great job there too.
...and now we have The Age or Worms. Ok ok I started to read some of it just wondering what it was all about...and now I've found I could use these first few adventures (with changes to the deities and various other things to match what I already have planned) to tie into my upcoming campaign.
Somehow you have been able to either read my mind or we're just keyed in on a similar idea (such as the triad of gods idea) at the same time.
Not really wanting to ruin the surprise...but...I've re-written "Obsidian Eye" so that the PCs are duped into helping a long lost powerful being (the eventual BBEG) come back from his imprisonment. The three gods I have tied into this would be Nerull, Incabulos, and Typhos (from Complete Adventurer). The BBEG would be a follow of a long lost god (Zarus...from the Races of Destiny book). I'd like to find another god to throw in there. This whole thing is similar to a 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse (with the BBEG being Apocalypse himself...sort of...Psychic Warrior of some level of power).
Nerull= Death
Incabulos= Famine
Typhos= War
I'd like to find a god to cover "Plague", even though I know Incabulos covers that as well.
This group would be human and highly xenophobic as well, shunning all other races who don't serve their needs.
So anyway...in closing...thank you all at Dungeon for not only making good adventures...but adventures that trigger the imagination of those of us DMs who love killing the PCs...errr...putting them through difficult challenges. :)

What about using the Oinodaemon Anthraxus the Decayed as the plague god? He's not technically a god, but he is the most powerful yugoloth in the cosmos, so he's certainly worthy of veneration and might be able to grant spells. Plus, there's a Dungeon adventure that deals with him (if somewhat tangentially) in issue #107 ("Mellorn Hospitality").

Actually I was going to use that adventure (#107) as a way to get the PCs from Greyhawk to other areas...especially those where people from Greyhawk aren't exactly looked upon in friendly terms (such as Celene).
So far I'm going back and re-planning the adventure path from what I have (we haven't even made characters yet, mainly due to one of the players getting drunk...err...rolling dice at GenCon next weekend)...but this should turn out for the better.
Most of the first several adventurers will (now) take place in the Cairn Hills (with the exception of the brief trip to the Gnarley Forest...which I'll use to hook into "Fiend's Embrace" and a trip to the Mistmarsh) until they are ready to head to the Bright Desert where the obelisk from "Obsidian Eye" awaits them...as will the BBEG (heehee).
I went surfing around the WotC site and found a .pdf download over at Living Greyhawk that had a list of the deities they are allowing and an updated domain listing (...less work for me to update domains...).
After pouring through all of them I found these LE/NE deities to use for this campaign, and who will also bring about the return of the Champion of Zarus (at the end of Obsidian Eye)
Hextor (for War)
Incabulos (for Famine)
Kyuss (for Pestilence)
Nerull (for Death)
Looking over the information each of these gods have primarily human worshipers, are evil (as opposed to LN with evil followers), and their main human followers come from each of the main human ethincites (such as the Suel, the Flan, etc). This prevents the PCs from spotting certain ethnic groups of humans out and focusing on them...making them feel like (hopefully) there are enemies everywhere.
I don't think I've ever put in as much work to a pen-and-paper game as I have with this. The most work I put into anything DnD related before this was when I played Neverwinter Nights (which is now uninstalled and sitting in a box here in my home).
Thanks for the great work at Paizo. Keep up the great work.
