I'm thinking maybe "Steel Shadows" from #115, though that's Eberron-based. The next Age of Worms advenutre (#127) fits the bill, but probably not finishable in one session.
Hi, all!
I'm looking for recommendations for a nice, short city-based adventure, preferably something that could fit into one session. Any Dungeon adventures fit this bill?

The one session thing is hard if your group plays like most and gets through an encounter an hour +/-. There is always Speaker in Dreams from WotC. I'm running it now, and it has enough options that you can use what you want and cut some and still have a good play of it. It is listed for 5ht level though, but it would be easy to scale up.

I agree with the Speaker in Dreams idea, give it a look/see and I am also finishing it up with my group right now. The ambush including the Ogre Mage could be run in one session(we did it) and could be placed in just about any city that has back alleys. (and what self respecting D&D city doesn't?) :-)

A couple right off the top of my head are "The Stink" in #105 and "The Styes" in #121. The first is 4th-level and the latter is a 9th-level adventure, so they both need a little bit of scaling.
Others that start off in a large town/city, but the action takes place just outside of it that are worth looking at are "Forsaken Arch" in #120 and "Strike on the Rabid Dawn" in #111.
