I'm afraid there's a mistake in Annahs stat block listings in the hardcover. It seems that Forgery is being treated as if it were a class skill for her bard levels, which as far as I know, it isn't. If this is the case, then at level 4 she is exactly 3 ranks short on her skills as listed, i.e. exactly 1 per bard level (it *is* a class skill for her aristocrat level). Also, she gains 9 ranks per level, but the advancement list says she's taking 8 class skills and one cross-class skill per level.
Am I missing something here possibly?

A few nitpick more:
Todd Vanderboren:
He has 5 skill points unassigned as far as I can see. He is listed as using a masterwork +2 strength bonus shortbow. However, he has only strength 12, this would give him -2 to hit, which is not added into his attack bonus, so I'm assuming a +1 strength bonus bow would be better for him. :-)
Zachary Aslaxin:
His attack bonuses are missing +1 from masterwork rapier and kukri. For his skills: with his synergy bonus from Survival his Knowledge (nature) skill is already at the listed +1 without any ranks spent on it. He must spend a rank, though, to be able to use it, but since according to my caluclations, he has exactly one to spare, his Knowledge (nature) should be at +2.

These stat blocks were by and large the hardest, most difficult part of the book to design, develop, and edit, so it doesn't surprise me that there are a few errors here and there. It annoys and disapoints me, of course, but it doesn't surprise me.
Fortunately, since all the work is pretty much there in the cold hard light, it's easy to see how to fix the errors when they pop up.
The "error" with Annah's speed isn't really an error though. She's not always going to be hauling around all her stuff, so it didn't make sense to me to list her speed as her encumbered speed. Probably could have listed it as 20 feet (30 feet when unencumbered) though, I suppose.

That's why I use Heroforge for the crunching....I do enough math at work....and who cares if it's a few points off??

James, please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to hawk on you, you've done great work with the hardcover. The thing is simply awesome. Of course these minor errors happen - especially with stat blocks. I can't tell you how many characters from adventures from different sources I've had to recreate because they didn't make sense. The nits in the Stormblades are really minor compared to some of those. They pop up, once I try to enter the characters into some kind of character storage, like I do with PCGen.
I just want to let you know about these nitpicks, so in case there's anther printing, you can fix them. I've found a few little things in the text of the adventures, too, and if you're interested, I can compile what I've found for you.

That makes perfect sense.
Anyway, I have to praise you again for bringing us this awesome book! Keep up the good work.
