Hi! I used to buy dungeon because I wanted to run the shackled city adv. path. What happened? The hardcover edition hits the shelves next month. Ah. Anyway, I think I'll buy it. But what about age of worms, it probably will be published later on in hardcover edition? That's why I think that if the two other adventures in each issues aren't THAT interesting, I won't buy dungeon and wait for the hardcover, that is far more practical, and I'll save a lot of money. Dungeoncrawling is funny, but once a year. So can we expect real adventures soon, something else than (beautiful) maps and big monsters from a far and distant plane...? What you think?

Also, there is more than just adventures in each issue...
Most contain 3-4 campaign workbook articles which can be useful DM aids, and a backdrop or 4th adventure too!
Don't get me wrong... I am picking up Shackled City too, but a subscription to Dungeon is less expensive than the hardcover and has 2-3 extra adventures.
Of course, this only helps if you subscribe. Paying cover price the adventure path will set you back more than the hardcover - if they make one, which depends (more or less completely) on how the Shackled City book does.

I agree, the mag has enough content to be worth the money even if you purchase the book (and then you'll have all the SC adventures in one place).
Side note: Robert & Koldoon: Did you gentlemen both recently change your avatars, or am I losing what few marbles I have left?
Robert seems to have been changing his on almost a daily basis since the miniatures set appeared last week.
I did change mine... I like being able to quickly find my posts by looking at the avatars, and there were just an awful lot of people using the jester. Besides, I really like that WotC made a Celestial Dire Badger mini.
