Defective copy of Campaign Planner 1

I purchased a copy of Campaign Planner 1 recently which is supposed to allow filling out of the forms in the PDF. However, the copy I received has document security set so that filling of form fields is not allowed. As one of the reasons I purchased this was the promised ability to be able to fill in the forms electronically and then print, this is a significant issue for me.
What can be done to resolve this soonest?

Hi Patrick,

Go ahead and send it back to us and we'll replace it for you. The best way to do this is to go to your local post office, place it into a priority mail envelope along with a note explaining the situation, and send it to the address below. We'll reimburse you for the shipping cost and send out another copy asap.

I appreciate the offer and I would do that except I purchased the electric copy and there is nothing to put in the regular mail.

I suspect the real issue is that the permissions on the "forms" version of the file were set incorrectly. I realize Paizo is the middleman here, but is there anyway Paizo can get the manufacturer to supply a version with the correct permissions? This would help me specifically and anyone else who want to use the forms electronically in general.

If this is not possible, how do I "send back" a zip file for replacement?

You are correct, the permissions on that PDF were set incorrectly. I've updated our watermarking code to allow filling in PDF forms, but it will take awhile before that code is rolled out to the paizo.com website. I'll post here again when it's live, and you should be able to download a new copy of the file with the proper permissions at that time.

Patrick, this issue has now been resolved. You should be able to go to your assets and download the file again and have it work this time.
