Dragon #333 has not made it to my house yet.

I checked under "my subscriptions" and it seems that issue 333 was shipped on May 31. However, it has yet to arrive. At what point is it considered lost in the mail? And, if it is lost, how do I go about getting another issue sent?

Thanks,
Jason

Hey

I'm wondering the same thing. I sent an email to customer service on the 13th of June but haven't heard anything yet. I have the same question Jason does. I live in Vancouver, B.C., so it should just take days to get to my home.

Any help would be appreciated.

My #333 hasn't shown up either. But, HALLELUJAH! Danish subscribers have received THEIRS! Check out the post on this board.

I was in France last week and the game stores (not just subscribers) have #333. Why can European subscribers and game stores have #333 when a simple US subscriber doesn't have his?

Can somebody answer me that?

In case you all don't realize, that "shipped to subscribers on May 31" indicator is completely bogus. A bunch of marketing hype to make you feel like you're special because you subscribe. You're not. Paizo doesn't give a **** about you. They have your money already. They'll do anything they want to you. It is quicker to just go to a local bookstore and buy it there. And surprise surprise, you can review the content first, too. Don't like it? Don't buy that issue.

And in case it isn't plain, yes, I'm a disgruntled subscriber. Paizo's fulfillment has been terrible since day one and hasn't gotten any better. Say goodbye to my money, Paizo, 'cuz I'm going the bookstore route and buying only the one or two a year that are really good.

Jason and Derek, I went ahead and mailed you guys replacement copies of 333. Hangfire, your copy may still be on route. We generally allow about three weeks for our subscription copies to make it to Canada, so it should arrive sometime this week, if it doesn't, send me an email on Friday and I will send you a replacement.

To address your specific delivery concerns Derek, let me first direct you to this thread from last summer.

Since then, the measures we have taken have substantially improved delivery times for most of our subscribers. There are still a few, however (Dialgo I'm looking at you), that still have problems. At this point, we have pretty much done all we can to speed up our shipments and improve our reliability. The rest remains in the hands of the USPS. Unfortunately, it will never be perfect, and I am sorry it was not good enough for you Derek.

Finally, it is worth stating again. Our subscription copies are not mailed out from our office in Washington State, but rather from our printing company in the midwest. The west coast is usually the last region of the country to get each issue.

More like the last region in the entire world.

Thanks for your assistance, Jeremy. I know you're on the frontlines of a battle that you can't necessarily control, but I'm just sick of getting my sub three to four weeks late. There is just no reason Denmark, thousands and thousands of miles away, should have their copy before me, when I'm just down the street, comparatively.

Thank you, Jeremy, for mailing me a replacement issue.

I would like to distance myself from Derek's complaints, I'm kinda taken aback by the venom in his post. I just wanted to politely request a replacement copy for one issue that got eaten by USPS. I don't share Derek's low opinion of the general level of service Paizo provides, on the contrary I think it is very good on the whole.

In any event, thanks again.

Jeremy

My copy did arrive this week. Although I'm not nearly as upset as Derek, I do have to question why the hobby shop down the street had the magazine before I did. I picked up the copy there because I wanted some information in that issue that ties into the Dungeon Adventure Path. I must say that generally the service has been very good (good enough that I resubscribed). I will also say that this is the first problem I've had with Dragon, and I've only had one issue of Dungeon get lost in the mail. You guys are doing a good job as far as I'm concerned.

Jeremy:

Got the issue yesterday that you mailed out. Thanks for sending it.

Hello My issue 333 never came. I am posting this to let people know that it can happen to anyone and Paizo doesn't care, so be careful. This is the second time that I have had a problem with your magazine after only 5 issues. To me that is only a 60% success rate and unacceptable. But really annoys me is that I have sent three emails and have received no reply. This is BS! I paid for my subscription the least you can do is answer my damn email. The mag is now well over a month late and I don't care if I ever get it. I want to cancel my subscription and I don't care about a refund. I have done business with you outside of magazines also. You can say goodbye to all of my future business.
Thanks for the headache, I'll call to confirm my cancellation.
