Psionic adventures

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

I was wondering if submiting an adventure with one psionic encounter would quallify as a whole psionic adventure, and hence not be as likely to get published?

Depends what you mean. If that one encounter is with a halfling soulblade, or hands out a single psionic magic item (or something that can be summarized quickly), then it'd probably be cool. If it's with a psion or wilder or psychic warrior... we have to assume that the DM has access to the psionic rules since we can't reprint a huge mountain of feats and powers, and therefore things get trickier.

I've mentioned this before, but I'l like to see a periodic "Scaling this encounter for psionics" Side Bar.

Something that gave an alternative Psionic bad guy that could be used by someone who wanted to add some psionics to their game.

Me, I don't run a psionic game, but I'd certianly include the occasional psionic bad guy to change things up for my players every now and then.

Maybe Wil Wheaton could create these alternative NPCs and put them instead of Wil Save in the magazine.

ASEO out

The encounter is a thri-kreen either straight out of the book, or with class levels from a non psionic class.
