And, astoundingly enough, no fatalities. Mostly, I think, because I managed to roll an amazing string of 1s and the like from Kazmojen. Ah well.

The only real issue we had with it was the way the party resources kept being depleted to the point where I think they ended up having a few too many rest-stops in order to not end up wiped out as a party. They did want to turn Keygan in, though the party wizard decided full access to his spellbooks was good enough for now.

They shot through Jzadirune way too quickly - the elf in the party found nearly every secret door with her automatic roll (hail the elf-ranger combination, eep!).

Either way, they began as:
Human Fighter, Human Rogue, Human Wizard, Human Druid, Elf Ranger, Half-Elf Bard, and Halfling Rogue.
They ended as:
Human Fighter 1/Cleric 2, Human Rogue 2/Enchanter 1, Human Wizard 3, Human Druid 3, Elf Ranger 3, Half-Elf Bard 2, and Halfling Rogue 2.

They be happy.

Yeah, when I finished they had no fatalities either, seeing as I let them role play through it. They have some amazing Diplomacy checks! Of course, they were smart enough to realize they probably wouldn't have got through that battle. And the rogue freaked out when he saw Vhalantru. That stopped him from ever wanting to fight again.

Of course, what makes that even funnier is that this guy is paranoid. He kept saying, before there was any clue to it, that I was going to pit them against a beholder. Was he surprised!
