I was readind a head and was doing some prep for test of the smoking eye. (I had some free time and I think I have everything else ready for the other adventures) But I could not figure out what to do about the map? Dose anyone have any good ideas on how to use the map of occiptus? Should I only show where they have been and the path that they are on? Should I re draw the mapa so that they see the map with out the lines from the path? I have a few weeks there are only halfway threw the kup-toan shrin in zenith trajecoty so I have a few weeks but the sooner I fiugre it out the better
There's no use in having a perfectly good map if you can't show it to your players. I'd redraw it, stain on some coffee and pass it off as an ancient map of Occiptus when it was still part of mt. Celestia. My players love those kinds of props.

I just made mine up i used some yellowis paper i drew the map rubbed some coffie grouds on it to get it some wear and dumped some cheap read wine on it and poped it in the microwave. it lookes good (except for the art i'm not a very good artist)
Also, tea works great for staining paper without ruining the image. And take a lighter to the corners of the page for a real rustic look (though do be careful, playing with fire is dangerous!). Regarding the Occipitus map, I didn't actually show it to my players, but did give them a general overview based on it and let them draw their own.
