Good question. This was actually discussed on another thread (can't remember the name or the author), but I'm sure it has descended to the pits of the thread list by now so it's probably time to redress once again.
There was a little micommunication between by own hand drawn map and Mr. Lazzeretti's much better rendering. It seems the childish scrawl of my "8" looked something like two circles stacked atop each other. Anyway, if you look at the northwest corner of Gate Square (Area 29) you will see a large building with a central dome and two extending wings. Directly in front of that building is what appears to be two closely-built towers?, silos?, wells?, large beer kegs?...whatever. Those two closely-set circles are actually supposed to be the number "8" and designate the domed building as the Gryphon's Arms.
