Since no ones team was in the Superbowl last night we decided to game. At the end of our last session the party had just finished eliminating Triel and the rest of her triad, and returned to Cauldron in time to avert the pending disaster.
Several days later they attended Sarshem's funeral, the monk of St. Cuthbert acting as a member of the honor guard led by Alex Travil. Following the funeral the party was approached by the Lord Mayor, and the Captain of the guard (his escort)and invited to a feast in the honor of the heros of Cauldron in three days time.
Arriving at the party, attended by all the noble families, leading merchants, and clergy of Cauldron. My party was surprised to learn they were not the only heros being honored. Apparantly, so were the Stormblades. During the feast, it became apparent that the Stormblades were given the place of higher honror at every turn. Needless to say several party members were not happy about that. Through out the night the party had an opportunity (many of them not taken) to meet almost every major player through out the path. They found Lord Vhalantru to be a kind but aloof elf, met Zarn and learned of the his mercenaries group (The flaming tusks) impending employment, were invited to the Maavu's import/exports to sell so equipment they were having problems unloading, danced with but did not provoke the stormblades (I was so hoping someone would challange for a duel), one PC even challanged the mayor's handling of the orphanages in town.
It was a great time.
