Tongueater was a half orc barbarian before he was afflicted so he has fast movment to make his speed 40 feet however it says in hybrid form he has speed 50 where dose the other 10 feet come from is this a 3.0 to 3.5 change? or was it an error?

a lycantrope in hybrid form uses the base speed of the base creature. The speed of tongueater should be 40', not 50' as I understand it.
thank you i thought that is what is was suposed to be but i thought that i would check with some more experianced DM's... this is my first Campaing being the DM
