Mail, that is... Erik, you said you were looking for posts from the message boards to put in the Prison Mail column. You even mentioned a couple by name. *Cough*ASEO*Cough* So, who do we have to slay/raise to get in the column?
Sarcasm aside, could you give us some idea of what you want to see in a post here, especially ones intended to be published in Prison Mail? And do we need to list where we live if we want that mentioned in the column?

If you're writing with the intention of getting into prison mail, why not send a letter (or email) to Dungeon directly? I believe the boards are supposed to be a place for readers to discuss article and voice magazine related opinions. If you want to voice your opinion directly to the editors and/or get your letter printed, posting on the boards is probably not the best course of action. Of course, that doesn't mean that the editors don't read, or use the posts here.

Here's the deal.
Every month, we go through the Dungeon email box and collect general queries about the magazine, atta boys, and critical letters for publication in the Prison Mail column. Prison Mail, incidentally, gets its name from the fact that about 65% of the actual letters we receive are from corrections facilities. Word up to our brothers on the inside.
In any event, sometimes we don't have enough letters to fill the magazine section (which has been happening more freqently since we started these boards). In this case, we turn to the message boards to cull posts for inclusion in the magazine.
The posts I tend to look for are relatively short, and ask a question that would be of interest to most of the readers. For example, we might publish a letter asking about the European subscription issues, which gives us an opportunity to address the issue in the magazine.
If you want to get a letter published in the magazine, the best way to do it is to send an email to dungeon@paizo.com. Keep it relatively short (look at the length of letters we publish in the magazine) and ask a couple questions you think other readers might be interested in, too.
As a personal suggestion, ASEO, lay off Wil. I'll print a letter that mentions in passing that you don't care for the column, but you're officially on record in that regard, and more general comments on the magazine would be appreciated in the letters column. By all means keep posting here about your thoughts on the column.
Thanks,
--Erik

As a personal suggestion, ASEO, lay off Wil"Wil Save". I have no beef with the author.

Please don't feel any need to mention me in any letter, I'll keep my dislike for the placement of Wil Save in DUNGEON here on the boards for people who actively want to know how I feel, and thus read my posts. As for Wil Save, It would be a great page to put so many other places. My gripe is it's placement in DUNGEON, and its usual lack of relevance to D&D.
On that note, your editorial on your first attempts to write adventures had me in stitches, and because it was done in the Editor's page and had relevance to D&D, which your editorial pages always do, was fine in DUNGEON, and more of what Wil Save should be.(though unless he becomes the editor of DUNGEON shouold be published elsewhere) Explosive puppies...great stuff! In my first years of gaming I to put adventures into notebooks much like the one you had a picture of. Huge Metal plated Dragons in 10x10 rooms, and halflings with sniper rifles...Oh those were the days.
As for anything I'd send Prison Mail..."Dude this magazine Rocks! If I only had 1 DM resource this would be it. The campaign arcs and adventure paths are dreams come true. As for the Greyhawk huge poster maps...My first born child was mailed to you last week, and should arrive any day now. Keep up the fantastic work! For the first time in my life I have more awsome adventures that I can't wait to run, that I possibly have time to run them."

Is this the weirdest and funniest factoid about Dungeon ever? I think so.
Anyway, I like PM. Usually the people that write in feel strongly about whatever topic they're bringing up, and it's good to see their questions/ comments/ rants addressed. Dungeon = customer friendly!
