Older races from Dragon in Eberron

Dragon Magazine General Discussion

The saurian shifter was...interesting to say the least. What about some older "Winning Races"? Grippli I can easily see in Xen'drik or Q'Barra. Tortles might exist peacefully virtually anywhere. Lupin I can readily see in the Eldeen Reaches. Although I have something in the works to fit lupin and other furry races in Eberron and other settings.

Mind if I ask what issue tortles were out of? That was my favorite thing about Redsteal, playing a tortle based on roman soldiers.

I see tortles living in either secluded monistaries in Q'Barra, occasionaly assisting the settlers there, or in the Talentra Plains. Lupins always struck me as something from the desserts.

I don't have the issue at hand but it had Strahd Von Zarovich on the cover. The whole issue was about looking back at older settings. Mystara, Red Steel, Ravenloft, Al-Qadim, Dark Sun among others, Spelljammer was mercifully spared further degredation. Moron, I still remember the travesty you purpetrated on my favorite setting. Giff ME a break, someone fire his butt!
