Has anyone heard of a good wizard based conjurer prestige class? The Thaumaturgist just doesn't work for an arcane caster. I seem to remember some conjuration based class, and it may have shown up in Dragon, but I can't put my finger on it's whereabouts or its specifics. If anyone can point me to it, I'd appreciate it.
Cheers,
Loupy

Wizards don't have to have prestige classes to be interesting, they just have to be role played a little. The trick to making Conjurers interesting, is don't treat summoned monsters as generic weapons. Give them names and personalities. You aren't summoning "a troll" you're summoning "Horrible Harvey Hooknose". See if the DM will let you arm your conjured creature with some spare treasure, so it always comes back with the +2 axe you gave it last game. Think of it as having an army of mercenaries scattered across the world, ready to unite at your will.
