The thing preventing people from switching to other systems isn't the availability of other content. There is a glut of content, and the #1 competitor is effectively free. Telling people "Oh you can try the pretty straightforward one you've heard of or you can choose from a massive swath of options you've never heard of with various strengths and weaknesses you get to research in niche Internet forums" isn't going to slay the dragon in my imagination. Pretty much the only thing that will cause a significant exodus will be another strong effort on Hasbro's part to make D&D a walled garden that somehow requires a subscription to fully enjoy. I'd assume they still want this but have been scared straight by the past few years and will hedge their bets enough to simply irritate people some more.

And yes, the Ha$bro thing is childish name-calling and you won't be winning any hearts and minds with it. If you're presenting a business idea, be professional.

Out of curiosity, does the Barbarian Dedication multiclass feat also get rid of the -1 to AC while raging?

No, it does not. Archetype dedication retains the -1, which somewhat 'protects' the barbarian's class niche (like monk archetype's 1d4 Flurry of Blows cooldown).

Is this supplement book as Edition-neutral as the Absalom book?

I'm looking for Source material and not so much crunch, really.

Yep, it's got very few 2e mechanics in it. Mostly a narrative exploration of the continent.

Is this set in a particular area of Golarion, or meant to be flexible on location?

Do everyone else’s shipping notifications tend to always come by around 9AM PST? I’ve only gotten one later than that once, so I feel like I should probably not keep my hopes up once we’re past that point.

The idea of book cover art you don't like being "the beginning of the end" for a company is very funny. The blocking for the fight in the background is rather stiff and awkward, but generally I don't show the book covers to my players anyway (maybe at the end of the book) so I don't particularly care. I'm more worried that the halfling doesn't look particularly evil, and I personally hope that the party is working for someone evil / at least the vast majority of Blood Lords are.

I'm also rather frustrated that I can't get a discount for this product. The people who own the compiled hardcover PDF have essentially the same content I do, but they're getting a 66% discount and I'd be paying full price, which I can't justify. I understand supporting a fair resolution for people who got the original volumes is more work, but I really encourage you don't follow this pattern in the future, because it makes the AP subscription a lot less appealing as a loyalty program.
