Wishlist: A starship economy. I know people kept saying "They could retire by selling their ship" but thats not true. If spaceflight is as common as it would need to be, selling it would be like selling at most a nice RV. Plus the fact that saying that is kind of a cop out, considering so can getting any hoard or magic item. Remember, the average person lives a year on a single gold. Getting a decent magic item could bank roll you for the rest of your life.

Forced Item Progression: Don't assume I want to upgrade my gear, maybe I want to stick with the lower gear for roleplay purposes. Maybe it has a sentimental value. Honestly these reasons are the only reason I don't run Starfinder, no one wants to play it with me because they can't choose to upgrade things.

Great to see, but please for all that is holy, don't use that cop out of "If they capture a ship they can retire" for why you don't put in a starship economy. Same applies to pathfinder yaknow, capture something big enough and retire. Just make starships comparable in cost to an RV or something if space travel is common.

Used this to try and fix the old Star Wars D20 system, using Pathfinder as a base stone. The first actual conversion and it failed. While that might not seem fair, you have to take into account the first thing I was converting is races. This is not a conversion guide, its a "what we changed" guide which is something completely different. Not happy with this product

I had an idea for a Pathfinder specific virtual tabletop, with full 3d characters and such, and while I can easily do it easily enough, I remember when Hasbro created modified the D20 license to prevent that after some argument they had with bioware over KOTOR. Are there any restrictions like that on Pathfinder? And if so, can I get a list or a link to a list so I can see if its worth the effort to work around it?

Very interesting, thanks guys, I found info that suggests paladins are the same way, I'll pass this on to the GM and watch him pour over his books trying to bind us lol.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My friends and I are recently getting into pathfinder and we just recently noticed something. I wanted to check before I said anything to our GM though, as it appears monks no longer have that limit to multiclassing (aka having to stop leveling in monk all together if they want to be anything but monk) Can someone illuminate this for me? Are monks still restricted, or are they open now?"

A friend of mine is running a game and I'm planning on going for the prestige of Mystic Theurge... but we have a question regarding Spell Synthesis, it says it requires the spells to have the same action time, but can one use metamagic feats to alter casting time to a complish this? aka could one quicken a full round spell to combine it with a standard action spell?

What you're looking for is the "Additional Resources" page found here. It will let you know which traits are legal and which are not.

Thanks, I really appriciate this

I've been getting ready per the handbook for my first game, trying to find a character generator and such (herolab comes with DRM i've read and I'm not comfortable with that on this system) and I thought I found one but then I find out from a friend there are banned traits and such that, and their not listed in the base handbook. Then as I'm trying to find out my traits books to check those I find out one of mine is apparently "fan material" according to the SRD.

What I want to check is these 2 Traits mostly (though a list would be nice)

Heirloom Weapon
Scholar of Ruin

Any help is appriciated
