If I wanted to make a cleric of Groetus in PFS what book(s) should I make sure to get?

And finally, if I take a Tengu and the Claw Attack alternative racial ability can I use that in conjunction with domain strike? It says I'll qualify for domain strike, but doesn't clarify if it can be used with it.

Alright, looking into some other guys, namely the Lantern King and Tsukiyo. Lantern King would be easy flavor wise, roll a gnome. But what race would choose the strange and exotic Tsukiyo?

Considering cleric of one of the three- Lamashtu, Zon Kuthon, or Groetus

I love battlefield control and debuffing and the Madness, Darkness, and Choas are all really great I can't decide who to choose.

Obviously it lends itself mostly to Groetus, but I seriously have no idea what kind of backstory to make for that sort of character even a little bit.

So I am stumped. Any thoughts fellow Pathfinders?

Can I take both my traits from my faction then?

This may seem silly but please help me out.

In PFS we choose two traits, but from my understanding you can't use any books other than the CRB and the free guidebook unless you HAVE the resources.

Traits first appear first in the APG...

So if I don't have the APG can I still use traits? I don't understand.

My goal was to make him more like The Tick than Gump, constant use of malapropisms, incorrect analogies etc. Though I was under the impression that using the favored class bonus on skills was generally considered a waste?

First I'm sorry if this in the wrong board, I'm new to pathfinder society. Though not new to Pathfinder itself I haven't played in organized play and want to make sure everything is kosher and that my character is viable.

skill ranks in knowledge religion and knowledge nobility.

traits- armor expert and magical knack
fear- scale mail, heavy wooden shield, cold iron spiked gauntlet, trident and net

Now first I wanted to make sure even with a -1 to int I still get both languages and skill points, if not thats okay, I just wanted to check.

Second yes I know Trident may not be the best weapon but I noticed Erastil's religious leadership had jobs in the community on top of being a cleric or whatever so I decided to make him a fisherman. So that's a flavor thing for him to start out with at level one.

third, do I still get knowledge nature as a class skill with the feather domain?

finally I have NO IDEA what feats to take, other than boon companion when I get my animal companion. I originally was going to take spit venom, but then I read that whole mess.
