One minute in battle equals 10 rounds? Is eidolon pronounced eye-dol-on, ed-ol-on?

I have been reading about summoning but I am being confused. If I summon a monster as a 1st level sorcerer, does the monster fight to the death, how many rounds does the monster stay on my plane? If I am a 1st level summoner and I summon my eidolon in battle, does it fight to the death, or how many round does the eidolon stay on my plane?

The rules say pretty explicitly no:

"In addition, specialist wizards receive an additional spell slot of each spell level he can cast, from 1st on up."

It looks like whoever built that stat block spaced that, and gave the wizard a bonus evocation cantrip.

Thx that answers my question.

If you speak about his spellbook, a wizard knows all cantrips (except from opposed schools) and 3+INT mod 1st level spell at level 1 (so 3 + 4 [INT] = 7 spells of level one into his spellbook).

Exuse me, I meant how did he prepare the seventh spell. If there is no possible way for him to prepare those at level one, then maybe those are just suggestions for what you could prepare(I found him as a pre-gen online).

This wizard can prepare 3 cantrips and 1 level one spell. He has a high Int. so he gets on extra level one spell. He also specializes in a school so he gets a bonus spell from that school as well. My question is how did he get the seventh spell? If you specialize do you get a bonus cantrip?

I found a spells per day table. Thx for the help!

I'd like to know the amount of spells all the classes that can spellcast can prepare at level 1. I would especially like to know how many spells a level 1 wizard can prepare.

How many at level 1?

What is the limit to the amount of spells a spellcasters can prepare each day?

Thx guy's!

How does AoO work when u move through threatened squares. Are all 8 squares around an enemy considered threatened? If I move infront or behind to confront(not running passed it) an enemy will that provoke an AoO?
Thx in advance!

Thx for the help!

Hi I am new to the game, and am having some trouble understanding magic. I understand the preparation. Do you have to make a concentration check each time you cast a spell or just when there is a distraction? Is a concentration check all I have to do for a spell to resolve? If you are casting a ranged touch attack spell, how does it hit my enemy, do I have to roll a d20 over the enemy's touch ac?
Thx in advance!
