Since there are now 20 or so playable ancestries I came up with a random ancestry chart for NPC's because I will never remember them all when my plays ask the ancestry of the tavern keeper. The numbers are loosely based on the old population numbers for Absalom and include some monstrous humans I can see being ones they could run into.

If anyone has come up with a random treasure chart or item chart or could point me to one that would be great.

The wolf companion knockdown power seems very overpowered. Should this be a Trip Check instead of an auto knockdown?

I have two questions.
1. Just to confirm if the caster is incapacitated while the spell is up the summoned creature disappears, correct?
2. What does Dispell Magic do to a summoned creature?

Ok I’m sure I am missing this but I can’t find were it list how many applications to weapons you get from one vile? Dose it differ between ranged weapons and melee weapons?

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

So I had a player tonight uses the Fabricate spell on the silk robs of a evil wizard.
The spell dose not have that "The spell cannot affect objects carried or worn by a creature." So I said it worked. They wanted to turn the silk robs into a a silk rope, I can't find a good reason not to.
The more I think about it the more this spell scares the crap out of me.
With no save and no SR this spell is disgustingly powerful. I either have to have every NPC have all of there gear magic or risk the PC are just going to nerf it all.
What is stopping PC's from turning full plate armor on a fighter into a tube of steel, or the great sword into a length of steal rope. I don't like the idea of at 9th level having to make all gear +1 just so it doesn't get transmuted.
And then you add the environment in as a target they can turn the stone bridge under opponents into sling bullets or the steel door into so much chain.
This spell reads like disintegrate without the saves.
Is the casting time a typo by change?

OK so I am getting ready for my first game with Pathfinder and I have a few questions.
1. What is the point of the Rogue talents Finesse Rogue and Weapons training? Both feats can be gained using the Combat trick talent.
2. Channel smite feet. OK I why would you take a feet to add a channel energy charge into a melee weapon? I can see the point if you could add it to a ranged weapon, but a melee weapon? I mean you turn a 30 foot area affecting all undead in that area onto just one and it makes the same save.

I seem to remember seeing a war sling in one of the old WoC 3.5 splat books, dose anyone out there happen to know what book it was in and maybe what the stats are for it?
