The other day I was thinking that the instrumental version if Westside Connection's "Bow Down" would make for a good way to begun a fight scene. Which ONE encounter from all the Giantslayer books would you use this song for?

If you don't like the idea of using that song, then share a really cool song you would use for one encounter in the AP.

We had a member of our party die last session, and the player insisted we not bring him back to life. It would have been funny to bring him back anyway, but he had "the curse" so we disposed of his body instead and took his loot.

Now he has a new character, who immediately started off very secretive with our group. We want to give him the gear from his old character, but we want to have a bit of fun with it.

Does anyone have any good ideas or stories that might help.

So far the only thing I can come up with is to do a private session with the DM to drum up a story that would intrigue the new character, and draw them into a goose chase.

One detail I forgot to add, my character is lawful good dwarf fighter (who HATES magic), so it's got to be something he would do. My character doesn't trust someone who refuses to even reveal their face to him, but at the same time welcomes those who are willing to fight the good cause (lawfully, of course).

We ran into what seemed to us as an unclear area of the rules.

A character provoked an Attack of Opportunity. The baddie had this:

Grave Touch (Sp): As a standard action, you can make a melee touch attack that causes a living creature to become shaken for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum 1). If you touch a shaken creature with this ability, it becomes frightened for 1 round if it has fewer Hit Dice than your wizard level. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

Can Grave Touch be used as an Attack of Opportunity? We had three basic interpretations at the table, not sure which of the three (if any) was correct...

1) One interpretation of the rules was since it says you can "make a melee touch attack", and an Attack of Opportunity is a melee attack, it was ok to use as an attack of opportunity.

2) Another interpretation was that because it's a spell like ability, it cannot be used as an Attack of Opportunity.

3) Yet another interpretation was that it could not be used as an Attack of Opportunity because it is "As a standard action". Attack of Opportunity does not allow a "standard action" per se, but only specifically a plain ol' melee attack.

We were able to deal with reasoning and table decisions. What I'm looking for here is an official Paizo position on this.

I've done a lot of searching and cannot find anything from Paizo that clarifies this. Please let me know if you have somewhere that Paizo does clarify.

I'm seeing some of the same items multiple times. Some items twice, and item or two 3 times. I know I haven't seen all the items yet as I haven't seen my own.

It seems I'd be giving the competition an unfair advantage by voting for their items multiple times without voting on my own. Please fix this soon mods, as I'd like to vote properly instead of skipping on repeated items.
