Hi,

"Land of the Silver Lotus" is a stand-alone sword and sorcery adventure module for character levels 4-6, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and usable with any fantasy roleplaying game.

Narcotic plants, hostile pygmies, giant slugs, and ancient evils -- face them all in this mini-campaign!

Land of the Silver Lotus wrote:

"Sail due east from Iraab, O traveller, to the verdant isles where pale blossoms sway in the moonlight to the throb of native drums. But beware the treacherous hidden reefs, which can shatter a ship and send you to a watery grave before you even set foot on dry land!

If you can make landfall and offer a satisfying bribe to Tiku, the decadent Pygmy King, there are great riches and marvelous sights awaiting you deep within the inland jungles. That is, if you dare to venture past the bleached bones of countless fools who have gone before you into the places that are taboo ..."

The book includes amazing original artwork by Kent Burles, and cartography by Billiam Babble and Kosmic Dungeon.

The book is available both as a PDF and in print. Check out this page for more information:

Hi,

I'm finishing up a new adventure module for the World of Xoth (module XP4: Land of the Silver Lotus) and I need a talented cartographer to turn my dungeon map sketches into something a bit more polished.

I don't care if you are a professional, semi-professional or amateur, as long as the results look good. All work will be paid, at rates agreed upon, at the time of delivery of the maps.

Please contact me using the contact form here:

http://hyboria.xoth.net/about.htm#contact

Or, if anyone has a recommendation, feel free to post a reply to this thread and include links to any good cartographers.

Thanks!

"The Citadel beyond the North Wind" is a brand-new, stand-alone sword and sorcery adventure module for character levels 8-10, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and usable with any fantasy roleplaying game.

Quote:

There is a land far to the north, past the black hills of Lamu and beyond the frozen moors of Tharag Thule; a dreary land of mist and thunder, where the white people of Yg have dwelt since ancient times. The free men of Yg tremble when fools dare to utter the name of Arkanth Mal, witch-king of Galuga, for he is the greatest and oldest of the tyrants of this primeval land.

And now, the drunken bards of Tartuun whisper, the witch-king of Galuga seeks a new queen. For his minions sweep across the borders of Tharag Thule and Lamu, slaying men and taking only young women as slaves back to Galuga, the Citadel beyond the North Wind!

As a regional sandbox, this module also details the never-before-seen northern lands and races of the World of Xoth.

Original art by Mark Allen.

The book is available both as a PDF and in print. Check out this page for more information:

"Song of the Beast-Gods" is a new stand-alone sword and sorcery adventure module for character levels 2-3, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and usable with any fantasy roleplaying game.

Quote:

The land of Yar-Ammon is old -- and even older are its gods. In the desert city of Khadis, a colossal faceless sphinx broods over empty altars and forbidden secrets. Hungry beasts gather ever closer to the city gates, while strange plots are afoot in the royal palace. Legacies from the past haunt an old king, and the sinister priests of Zothur watch from the shadows of the throne.

Can you unravel the mysteries of accursed Khadis -- and live to tell the tale?

With wilderness travel, palace intrigue, and dungeon crawling, "Song of the Beast-Gods" has something for everyone!

According to the Survival skill description, you need a Survival DC 15 check to avoid getting lost, whenever the situation (the DM) calls for it. I guess that's typically if you are in the middle of the jungle, or in heavy fog, or something like that.

It also says "If you are trained in Survival, you can automatically determine where true north lies in relation to yourself."

But wouldn't it be impossible to get lost if you know where true north is all the time? Does this mean that anyone who is trained in Survival can ignore the rules about getting lost?

How do you interpret this?

The witch's slumber hex was discussed in this thread, based on the final playtest version.

Question to those who now have access to the final APG version: Has this hex been changed in the final version, or is it the same as in the playtest?

"The Spider-God’s Bride and Other Tales” is a collection of ten blood-red sword and sorcery adventures, inspired by the pulp era tales of Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith. Venture in the footsteps of Conan the Cimmerian, Satampra Zeiros of Uzuldaroum, Imaro of Nyumbani, and other fabled thieves, reavers and slayers!

The book is 200 pages and contains 10 stand-alone adventures that takes the player characters through grey mountains, steamy jungles and bleak deserts, to lost islands, ancient temples, great castles, sinister catacombs and forbidden vaults. There are more than 40 dungeon and city maps, and several chapters (around 40 pages) of rules variants, new classes, races, feats, spells and equipment. (There is also a 66-page Conversion Booklet for those using the Conan RPG system by Mongoose.)

The book is available both as a PDF and in print. Check out this page for more information, including a preview:
