Some druids who associate themselves with a domain, rather than attracting an animal companion, may gain a familiar associated with their animal domain.

So, forgoing an animal companion, how would I get a familiar as a druid?

Sloths are available as familiars, however. I saw that blight druids can take on familiars; how is this possible? Can I have a familiar and an animal companion? Or a familiar if I take the other choice (namely, cleric domains?).

Hey all!

I am in the process of making a new jungle druid (not a first-time RPGer, but just getting into PF Society!), and I want my animal companion to be a sloth. I see that the animal already exists in the bestiary, but it's not on the "table".

If I can, what are the rules for transforming it into an animal companion.

If I can't, why not? And is there no workaround? :(
