So my GM has a home rule that makes all animals speak Terran (or their appropriate language based on type of animal i.E birds doing Auran.) and able to learn languages based on their linguistics and int like players so that players can more easily gather information from them and such. And so when I made a witch and noticed our party had no face I thought of the ambassador familiar to make my fox familiar able to talk to other and such. Ambassador familiar works as such:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/wizard/familiar/familiar-arche types/ambassador/
And for anyone unable to open the link:
An ambassador speaks on its master’s behalf and sometimes on behalf of its master’s patron or other extraplanar contacts.
Special Requirement: An ambassador familiar must be able to speak at least one language, either as a special familiar ability (as in the case of a raven or thrush) or by being an improved familiar. A familiar that can’t speak (or can speak only to its master or other animals) can’t be an ambassador.
Ambassador Skills: An ambassador treats Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate as class skills.
Persuasive (Ex)
An ambassador gains Persuasive as a bonus feat.
This replaces alertness.
Enhanced Personality (Ex)
An ambassador gains a Charisma score equal to the typical Intelligence score of a familiar of its level, if that would be higher than its normal Charisma score. The familiar’s Intelligence score remains 6 (or its normal starting Intelligence for an improved familiar) and doesn’t increase by level.
This replaces the familiar’s Intelligence score advancement.
I know GM has last ruling on things but basicly the only reason that special requirement is put into place is because normally animals can't speak at all, so if they are all are able to learn languages and speak at-least one language would they be able to be this archetype?
